Gramma Mason's visit

My mother came to stay with us for the past couple weeks. We are so glad she did! Of all the things she does so well, there's one thing that she does THE BEST, and that's teach! Not only did she teach Noah to read, but she helped Brooklyn learn all of her multiplication tables, which she had been struggling with since school started! She helped her so much that Brooklyn was one of 3 students in her class that passed the math section on the state benchmark tests this past week! I could have never done as much as she did, in the small amount of time she had. She is truly AMAZING!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday was Brooklyn's class party for Valentine's Day. I spent the morning making some fun valentines for her to pass out. They turned out pretty cute, I think. :)



And since we had Gramma Mason here, Steve and I decided to go to an early session at the temple, and then out for lunch. It was a perfect way to spend Valentine's! He even surprised me with some roses earlier this evening!


I sure do love him! :)
